Boomtown Rats Tour

Thanks Jules, I don't think I can beat bang on the front row scaffolding at the Loch Lomond Rock festival, where Mondays was sung in Europe for the first time. Now, that was a weekend I have never forgotten. The Fri was the last day of school and I had left, drawing out all of the money in my post office savings account and blowing the lot - £80 lol. Anyhow, I am sure someone, a group of individuals has those 'missing' tickets and they won't be going... Yes, I knew you were the other person I mentioned... The other great venue in London was the Rainbow, I think Mean Fiddler had that, my uncle in law James Prior, but it's gone now - a church I think, as you can still see the building from the railway. Great Xmas Turkeys gig there in 78 - I digress - gl to those who got good tickets - enjoy a great band

I was online the second past 10 for Hammersmith, someone had already had row after row out of the allocation. I'd say at least the first 6 rows went to profiteers. I know one other very keen fan who was allocated in row G yet was online the second it opened. It's sad to think what has happened there. I wd not been keen to watch from the back so won't see you there. I had a look at the Corn Exchange, but that was also oddly cleaned out. For those who are going - enjoy...

Sheffield city hall september cant wait. Just a shame its an all seater stadium. The wife gets to see why the rats are by far my favourite band. Oh and of course she gets to hear mondays sung in tune for a change

I'll be at York. Would love London, as that would be extra special, but it's perhaps too far.

This tour has long been overdue.

Being a bit further away than most others here, I am Interested in Aberdeen and Glasgow, York and Gateshead. I would also like to go to London, which will be special.

I'm really looking foreward to this. Getting out live is got to be the best!
