Boomtown Rats vinyl,what do we know(part 17)

We move onto the first single release from V Deep which was Never In A Million Years.

Released in the UK on the Mercury record label.

Released in the USA on the Columbia record label with Charmed Lives on the b-side.

Released in Ireland on the WEA record label.

Released in Scandinavia,Holland,France,Spain and Italy all on the Mercury record label. It was NOT released in Germany.

Released in Japan and Australia on the Mercury record label but NOT in New Zealand.

This was the first single to be released without Gerry Cott who had left the band after the Mondo Bongo tour.

Also the b-side Don’t Talk To Me was on the American version of Mondo Bongo.

The UK sleeve which in my opinion must be the worst sleeve ever produced. For some strange reason it does not name the band or the name of the song.

The Holland sleeve.

The French sleeve.

The b-side of the American version which would later be the third single release from V Deep.

The Japanese sleeve.

Agree, but I have never understood the UK sleeve with no writing or picture on it.
