Boomtown Rats vinyl,what do we know?(part 25)
Here we have some releases which were probably released by rhe different record labels and not The Boomtown Rats between 1977-1985.
We start with a 4 track 7” EP released only in Australia in 1979 called Surface Down Under.
Released on the Mercury record label.
Side A Rat Trap,Lookin After No 1
Side B Like Clockwork,Diamond Smiles.

In 1981 a 5 track 12” EP was released in Canada on the Vertigo record label called Rat Tracks.

Side A Up All Night(Long Version),Fall Down,Whitehall 1212.
Side B Nothing Happened Today(live),Real Different( b-side).
In 1982 a 4 track 12” EP was released by Columbia records in America.

I am still not sure whether this EP was released before or after V Deep was released in America. As you can see all 4 tracks were on the V Deep album.
In 1983 a 6 track 12” EP was released in America on the Colombian record label called Ratrospective.

Side A Never In A Million Years,Mondays,Joeys On The Street. Side B Rat Trap,She’s So Modern,Up All Night.
All 6 tracks would later be on a Best Of album in America but was released after The Boomtown Rats split up.
