been a fan since 1979. love all the music. my favourite album is In The Long Grass. still play it at least once a month. live in South Africa. always have. the Rats weren't big here because they boycotted Apartheid and didnt release tgey music here. i bought it at the imports section of the local record store. dedicated myself to trying to convert everyone I know to the band. I met up with a long lost school friend a few years ago and tge thing he remembered most about me was how much I loved the Boomtown Rats. Long live sir Bob abd the band.
